Evidence Njoku

Wonder what this means on the Devonta Smith front? Did he tell them he isn't coming and they took a commitment from Njoku. Or is that a seperate deal all together.

Pete said all along that Njoku was a take it doesn't affect Smith at all, the only person it really affects it's Scott. I think this will push Scott out especially if we land Jeudy and or Smith

We could also be done at wr if we don't get one of JJ or Smith.

It's just a matter of time with Scott....we will get one of Smith or Jeudy...depending on the numbers, we may take Harley at the last minute

Harley would be nice, but I really don't want us to give up on Holloman. That kid is a specimen

Holloman is all UGA....we have a better chance with his teammate

Harley Jeudy Smith needs to be the remainder of that WR corps.

I like Harley and think he should be in the conversation regardless.

Can't tell jack from his highlights since he's playing against the likes of the New York Mini-Midgets, but if he's at least half the athlete his brother is, I'm optimistic.

Agreed. Harley is a classic "Miami Guy". Would be a shame to not offer him bc of his size. That kinda thinking is part of what got us in our current predicament. If he's a baller, he's a baller.

Not to be negative, but my only concern with Richt is whether his time at FSU has influenced his outlook on receivers, which has been one of his weakest recruited positions. He definitely seems to have a size over speed fetish aka a prototype FSU WR. Doesn't help that his WR coach is also an FSU guy, too and has a stated preference for larger receivers (at least according to the PPT slide at one of Miami's Camps).

At the last camp Harley and Jeudy were both at, Harley looked the better of the two. Harley just doesn't have the size Right typically goes after, but I for one hope that changes.

I'm not sure pushing scott out of the class is something the staff is going to do given importance of southridge in years ahead.

Bruce is small, mullins is under 6' and richards is a lean 6'1". Neither dingle nor scott are very big.

Golden spent a bunch of scholarships on tall guys meanwhile.

We do need bigger receivers. Doesn't mean only bigger receivers. But players are bigger and faster at all positions these days.

You're right. But outside of Richards, I'm not sure Richt and Dugans go after those guys had he been here the entire year. A baller is a baller, especially one from South Florida.

Trusting the coaches on this one, can't judge anything off that tape and the poor competition.

I'm with you.
He just transferred to a school that played for the Group IV championship last season.
The competition is night and day compared to Cedar Grove.
We shall see.

Lol everyone hates Scott here. Miami's not dropping Scott. Richt is on record saying he is not a fan of taking commitments if they aren't all in on them. He wants to slow decommitments down.

UM likes Scott. They want Scott. Just got to get used to it. He's a talented possession piece just doesn't have the star upside.

Jeudy
Njoku
Dingle

That would be three big talented and fast dudes and at least Jeudy/Dingle are day 1 playmakers. Just survive Scott.

Hartley really needs to start using this gif instead -

Not sure what Harley's production has been like during the season. I know some kids stand out in 7-7's and camps, but then disappear on the field.

sometimes i think we got caught up in where a kid currently is, versus the potential of where they are going in regards to their game . . .
