Eventful Recruiting Weekend Ahead?

I just wish they wouldnt over sell these things man. Let the fans be shocked. Because when u say monstrous August, and we get some 3 star kid. Instead of them being welcomed as a Cane, you have people bitter because they expect monstrous to be top 150 players etc. From the best June ever to this. They have to learn. Mind u i never take these things as gospel but i can see how people can and will. They gonna expect Breland, Stone, Franklin level commits

Agreed, it’s hard to temper fan expectations with college football. Even a kid like Rudolph, who the staff had super high according to those in the know, is a low 4 star who some were calling mid.

Maybe they’re not doing it for the fans? Ever think of that?

Other recruits have twitter too. Committed and not.

It’s not the staff’s fault that 90% of this fanbase is braindead and if they get excited about a blue-chip prospect that they hold in very high regard, the brain donors around here can’t rally behind it like we’re entitled to Top 10 overall players after being ****water for literally their entire lives.

If this site, and the others, and twitter could be rational adults and see things for what they are, we’d be a lot better off. But we know that can’t happen, so instead you get some sense of disappointment from “fans” when your QB of the future commits with 35 D1 offers as a sophomore in high school and some “meh” when we flip a hyper athletic edge player from a Top 10 program LMAO.
