Even undefeated, we may not get in

If we end up beating a one loss FSU and a one loss Clemson (both of those one losses obviously being to us) there is no way in **** the computers don't push us in over OSU.

Remember...even in that scenario Miami would be 1 spot behind OSU in the human polls (#3). The computers would then overwhelmingly push us over OSU. We would have beaten two top 10 teams (one of which was in the top 3 - Clemson) plus Florida.

If we win out...we'll get in. Let's worry about winning out...it would be quite the story considering what we've endured here for the last decade.

How is it possible to play both undefeated when they play each other? If we play an undefeated FSU that means they beat clemson at clemson, which would mean either FSU would need another loss or we play them again in the ship

Worry about winning out, something this program has not even come anywhere CLOSE to doing for well over a decade.

****, worry about going udefeated in the Coastal, I think Golden set the record last year by only losing to TWO sorry *** teams in the Coastal.

If we win 13 games, we are in the BCS NC.

I am more worried about winning 7 games in the ACC.

Look, I get that we are all excited. And I'm prob going to get negged for being the cooler head in the room, but we are NOT going undefeated. I'd loveeeeeee to be wrong. But we aren't going unbeaten.

or u couldve just said take it one game at a time. idk if were gona finish undefeated or not, but im not gonna say were not gonna lose or we r going to lose. u dont know if we will be or will not be unless ur miss cleo and u have the ability to tell the future

since everyone is popping molly's on this thread let me go ahead and dream about us meeting and destroying an undefeated Taint at the Rose Bowl.

after we run up the score, Urban Meyer dies from embarrassment, Walter White has ****piro shanked in prison, the Marlins stadium fall in a sinkhole which is filled and replaced by a replica of the orange bowl.

Ohio state plays nobody

Oregon only has Stanford

WE get screwed

Not sure what you're thinking. If we go undefeated that means we beat Fsuck and Clem. both of them will still be in the top 15/20. We already beat Uf. We will be above the rest with those 3 wins.

My bad, you're right. It would end up being a 2 loss FSU team (loss to Miami and loss to Clemson) but a 1 loss Clemson team who by then could be #2.

Either way....we'd have a favorable computer ranking over OSU. Win out and we'll get in...let's hope it gets to that point.

If we don't get in due to the "lack of strength" from the schedule before us, it would probably because we don't have enough "style points" (aka RUTS). I think Golden is starting to realize that he can't pull the 1st string out too early because it kills the offensive flow. However, once the 1st BCS poll comes out, he will realize that RUTS may be the only way for a school to, if you will, plead its case to play in the national championship game. This is why the win against an SEC team was huge because of the media hype that conference receives.

IMO, we should have beaten USF 49-7 and Florida 21-9. From the media's POV, we beat an 0-3 USF team by only 28 points when they lost to an FCS team (McNeese St) by 32 points. Also, from their POV, we beat a turnover-prone UF by only 5 points. The media's perception of how we beat the opponents on our schedule might do us in if anything else.

First beat UNC, as they are a pain in the *** every year.
Next beat FSU, and they are going to be a pain in the *** this year.
Beat the poo-poo out of the dookies, despite the long, debilitating walk to the field.
Next beat UVA, as they are a pain in the *** in general, no matter what their season is like leading up to our game.
Then beat PITT, as they are dangerous if we look past them for some silly *** reason.
Then beat Clemson or FSU again, no small task.

DO ALL THAT AND YEAH, WE BACK, WE BAD, WE NATIONWIDE. Whaddya say we just beat the dog snot out of GT first.
