Even undefeated, we may not get in

A little early to get your shorts in a wad about the MNC. In any case, I would not be surprised if Stanford beats Oregon - again.

I think we would get the nod over O$U based off who we would have beaten if we both go undefeated. Their marquee wins would be #23 Wisconsin, #16 Northwestern, and (#19) Michigan. We would have beaten #12 Florida, (#8) Florida State, and (#3) Clemson or Florida State again. Tough to keep us out in that situation.

Waaaaay too early for this. One crazy Saturday changes everything and every year there's at least one.

to go undefeated, we have to beat two top 10 teams (FSU, Clemson). We 100% are getting in if that's the case.

Stanford beats Oregon

Loses pac12 title game

Ohio state loses to Michigan

Alabama loses 1

We go undefeated and beat Clemson in acc title game.

Play a 1 loss Georgia in national championship

Win by 21

6 rings.

If we end up beating a one loss FSU and a one loss Clemson (both of those one losses obviously being to us) there is no way in **** the computers don't push us in over OSU.

Remember...even in that scenario Miami would be 1 spot behind OSU in the human polls (#3). The computers would then overwhelmingly push us over OSU. We would have beaten two top 10 teams (one of which was in the top 3 - Clemson) plus Florida.

If we win out...we'll get in. Let's worry about winning out...it would be quite the story considering what we've endured here for the last decade.

dude its gonna be same as usual, Bama will lose to an sec team, probably L$U, it will look like the reign of bama is over then someone somewhere will **** it up again and lose, giving Bama a trip back to the title game (because they get priority over all other one loss team). this time though we'll have to take matters into our own hands

Actually. Oregon plays Washington (16th), UCLA (13), and Stanford.

Call me crazy, and i'll admit i was wrong if it doesn't happen, but Oregon WILL lose this year. and it could be next week AT washington and their new stadium.

IF we go undefeated and it's a big IF because I'm a realist (not to be confused with pessimist like people on here jump to believe just because I am hesitant to claim we are back to National title form) we go undefeated, i'm confident we will not be left out. Ohio State very may well go undefeated, but i do not think Bama will. Could be us vs. ohio state in the title game, because If Louisville beats UCF (which i think they may stumble) they will most definitely be passed up by someone, even if it's a one loss team

Our wins over a tough Sec opponent #12 UF, # 4-8 FSU at the time, and top 3 clemson would catapult us all the way up.

It sucks and i'm not saying I want the gators to win by any means, but a team is always in better position rankings wise when the people they beat do well. Just ask Clemson, their win over georgia is looking better and better every week

i like where your heads at, but Clemson and FSU play each other October 19th in Clemson, therefore in theory if we beat them both, one of them will have 2 losses

Look, I get that we are all excited. And I'm prob going to get negged for being the cooler head in the room, but we are NOT going undefeated. I'd loveeeeeee to be wrong. But we aren't going unbeaten.

In my dream world, only Loserville and Miami remain undefeated. We face off in Pasadena and the Don sends Charlie Strong to counseling after a Nebraska-like beat down.
