ESPN view of Canes draftables?

I think Linder met expectations. He was regarded as strong, versatile among being able to play different positions along the oline and a hard worker. What he has always lacked is that upper echelon athleticism which will put a ceiling on his draft stock but he will be in the league for a long time as team's love those swing offensive lineman

once folks really let set in how bad the talent was here for the last 8 or so years...this makes perfect sense..

we settled in on 3 star players hoping inexperienced coaches could make them compete etc....

we are still a couple of years away from ELITE talent at crucial positions...but the voids are getting filled..

I'm not completely disagreeing with you, however, Henderson was no 3 star talent. He was an elite recruit that we were lucky enough to land due to the sanctions at USC. His mentality kept him from developing that elite talent into a 1st rd draft pick.

As far as Linder goes, he was a high 4 star recruit and I don't know what happened there. I thought he would have had a much higher draft stock. I don't know if it was coaching that didn't fully develop him, or my "green and orange glasses" that thought he would be much higher.

yea I think we are all disappointed in Seantrel including Seantrel.......I think the coaches just gave up and moved on trying to get him prepared for gameday etc...when all he wanted was the NFL draft to come along...Linder is probably just a Miami thing, teams just dont look to here for Olineman...he will make money in the nfl...

Thanks

C'mon, you don't really believe NFL scouts overlook UM OL talent simply because they play at UM. The UM players certainly have a better platform than D1AA, D2, etc...players. And NFL scouts will find talent no matter what level.

Bottom line, when we have had talented OL that project well they get drafted.

So having the U on the side of the helmet doesn't automatically mean you have more talent than ____________ teams in the conference. Novel idea.
