Also espn released top 10 sophomores list and its quite pathetic. Ex: Darby

1 Amari Cooper WR Alabama
2 Tj Yeldon RB Alabama
3 Todd Gurley RB Georgia
4 Dante Fowler DE Florida
5 Devonte Fields DE TCU
6 Ronald Darby CB FSU
Darby didn't start a game or pick off a pass last season, but he still stands out on film. He shows good instincts and above-average closing speed in zone coverage, and has the fluidity, short-area burst and top-end speed to match up in man. He's also an adequate tackler who's willing to step up in run support and can limit production after the catch
7 Andrus Peat OT Stanford
8 DUKE
Johnson (5-9, 196) doesn't have the size or power to consistently pick up yards after contact. On the other hand, he's a versatile playmaker who is dangerous in space. He can break a defender's ankles with his ability to quickly change directions, and can accelerate away from pursuit when he gets a seam. In addition to his 10 rushing touchdowns in 2012, he also caught a touchdown pass, threw a touchdown pass and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.
9 Stephon Diggs WR Maryland
10 Dorial Beckham WR Missouri

What a surprise. A list written by someone who looks at a paper instead of watching the games.

I just want to know why these people hate Duke. I honestly want an explanation. You cannot watch his game film, and deduce his size is an issue. These are the same people who would drink the sweat from DeAnthony Thomas' soggy socks, and lie flat on the ground so that he could walk over mud, and yet they still act like Duke is overachieving at his position for his body type. Ready to break into shards of glass if the wind blows too rigorously.

Duke 'going down easy' and 'not picking up yards after contact' is becoming an annoying recycled myth.

Correct me if Im wrong but werent all of the guys on that list the highest rated kids coming in last year? **** near.

Most of these guys only watch certain games. (if they watched any of our games in the last few years at all) Duke didnt really perform in any of them. Thats the reality. he was a freshman though and he had a really good season. But this year him and some of these other guys (Morris and Dorsett) have to step up when the lights are brightest. As the former cane great said. Big time players, make big time plays in Big games

SEC bias, it would be a dream come true for Miami to go undefeated and beat Alabama in the championship game. I would love for us to end the SEC's streak. Tj Yeldon & Todd Gurley are good but duke had a better freshman season statistically.

Again, with the SEC insecurity. All those SEC dudes ahead of Duke on that list are certified freaks.

I don't know a thing about the dude from TCU aside from hearing towards the end of the year that he was tearing it up. The one I figured most would be *****ing about is the dude from FSU. A CB who didn't start or pick off a pass is better than Duke???

LMFAO @ "not picking up yards after contact"

What a mother****ing joke. How many big runs did he have? How many stiff arms did he throw on those runs?

Oh I forgot he's kind of small. Must not have any power.

Lol, kind of like back when Jacory was a Freshman and every announcer called him a running QB

Yeah...the first touchdown of his career. With no off-season weight training.

Now he's added 10 pounds of muscle.

Stop with the SEC blowjobs on every post. Cooper is the only one. Bama RB or U***s DE are only ahead of him cause they are in the sec. look at dukes runs against BC where he broke and stiff armed the **** out of people to take those runs to the house.

Duke is gonna go down as the Ray Rice or MJD of his draft class. Some people believe height equals goodness.
