ESPN launching a 24 hour "SEC" Network

They're already on TV all the time anyway. What difference will this make?

Vanderbilt and Tennessee will be on TV more now?

It won't change much, the elite teams (Bama, LSU etc.) will beat the non-elite teams (Vandy, Auburn, Missou, Tenn, Miss, Kent and Miss St). The other teams (TAM, UF, UGA, Ark, South Car etc.) will go back and forth being good and then bad.

At some point more money does not yield you more success, the law of diminishing returns.

I said this before, the Yankees are the leaders in Salary, TV and Marketing. At some point it doesn't help to throw more money around, the Yankees over the last 12 years have 1 WS Crown. At some point it is more than just money.

Texas doesn't have it's own national ESPN channel.

Money doesn't equate to success. It could lead to success (just like yards could lead to points) but it is not a given. Spending money wisely is just as important.

How much does Kirk Frentz make at Iowa?

In 2010, Iowa extended him at 3.65 million per year through 2020

Iowa's record since 2010, 19-19 (1-1 Bowls and 10-14 in the Big 10)

Kirk made $3.65M x 3 Seasons = 10,950,000.00 or $576,000 per win.

How much does Mack Brown make?

Mack Brown makes north of $5,000,000.00 per year and is signed through 2020 as well.

He made roughly $15,000,000 over the last 3 years.

Since 2010, he is 22-16 (11 and 15 in the Big 12 and 2-0 in bowls).

That works out to $15,000,000 over the last 3 years or $681,818.18 per win.

I dont see how anyone will knock them (SEC) off the throne. I just do not see it happening with the $ they throw around.

Do you think Ole Miss, UGA, UF and the rest of them are so excited that the conference is winning and not their school? Things change over time, teams that are hot become duds, teams left for dead will rise.

It is cyclical and Bama/LSU are pretty hot.
