ESPN goes scorched earth on UM Coaches

A week later and it’s still painful. Apparently Booger McFarland and other ESPN talking heads trashed UM coaches including Mario for horrible effort/gameplan vs GT. GT was a much inferior team and UM was totally unprepared. Speaking of grown ups, I guess you’ve got to be a grown up coach and own it too.

Deservedly so. Good. I'm glad. We had zero business losing that gane, and once again, the coaches failed the team. Doesn't matter what our record is/was, the team got ****ed, and the coaches got exposed.

Two things:

First of all, how great is it that a Miami loss actually gets discussed on national broadcasts? It means they actually give a **** about us enough to use a segment on it. Usually by this point in the season, we’re a long afterthought.

Secondly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team get roasted more than Bama did when they lost to Vandy. They tend to take it easy in SEC teams because they suck off every program in that conference besides Vandy.

He loves everybody but Mario. Kills him Miami has been doing so well. I’ve always thought it’s because Mario doesn’t kiss their butts and do the “aw shucks”
Thing with them. Literally every other coach in the conference gives interviews etc on that show all the time. Not Mario
He’s a petty old fart. He can be funny at times and likes to hear himself talk.

It was a pathetic coaching effort. We’ve been skirting by 50% of the season, it was bound to catch up.
I hope you are talking about the offense that was averaging 47.4 points per game against FBS and scored only 23 against a defense that was poor at pass coverage which happened to be the strength of the Offense. If you are talking about the Defense which is giving up 32.4 points per ACC game, this was not their worst performance.

I just watched Nick Saban discuss how to stop the Tennessee spread offense with Kirby Smart

Kirby - “we have to get lined up in the correct spots and make sure we are not out leveraged or out numbered”

What a novel concept…..
