I’ve always thought the was the case for these HS kids. The portal is gonna kick the diva outta some of them. Now the Cormanis, Okunolas will always be 1st priorities, but these 4-stars and so… better hop on a team quick.

The good coaches and programs understand that these things fluctuate. Take those who deserve to be here through proper recruiting assessment. Always take those blue chip surprises when we least expect them. I am at a peace with Zo and Mario running the show

I don't know about a flood of commits by 12/5...but we'll get some good ones...and some from the Portal as well....

If you are a big time recruit it means nothing because there will always be a school that wants you. It’s for those borderline P5 recruits because if you overplay your hand, you will end up at Western Michigan.

I think once we are beholden to the annual counters in 2 years this might matter but not right now

Lsu baseball went this route. All in on transfers. Basically took a top 15 team and filled in the holes with transfer studs.

I think you’ll see it a lot in baseball. Coaches don’t even need to bring in Freshman and develop them.
