- Ernest Udeh Jr. 6'11" Center, Transfer from TCU/Kansas. 1-Yr Eligibility.

Likely to be a Cane:
- AJ Staton-McCray. 6'4" Guard, Currently only Returning player that hasn't entered the portal. 1-Yr Eligibility.

In Serious Contention for:
- Harun Zrno. 6'7" Forward, 2025 Recruit. (Likely between us or Villanova)
- Dante Allen. 6'4" Guard, 2025 Recruit.
- 1 of: Jalil Bethea 5* 6'4" Guard from 2024 class - OR - Mathew Able 5* 6'5" Guard from 2025 class

Other Targets:
- Amarri Monroe. 6'7" Forward, Transfer from Quinnipiac. (MAAC POY, avg 18.1 points, 9.1 rebounds /game)
- Rodney Rice. 6'4" Guard, Transfer from Maryland.

Unlikely:
- Jaland Lowe. 6'3" Guard, Transfer from Pitt. (Probably unlikely after Tre Donaldson addition)
- Shelton Henderson. 6'6" Forward, Currently at Duke. (Unlikely to leave/Follow Coach Lucas here)
- RJ Luis. 6'7" Guard, Transfer from St. Johns. (Likely to Return)

Out of the Running:
- Silas Demary Jr. 6'5" Guard, Transfer from UGA. (Going to UConn)
- Keyshawn Hall. 6'7" Forward, Transfer from UCF. (Going to Auburn)

Just in case anyone is interested, pretty good matchup with Texas Tech and JT Toppin. Other than the lack of shooting, this guy is like the anti-Kidd. I’m coming around.

Side note: Jace Posey (James’s kid) is going to be a lot of fun.

From April 1, 2025 -- Udeh Evaluation from Yahoo Sports

Udeh Jr. recorded six double-doubles for the Horned Frogs this season. The junior from Orlando, Florida scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds during TCU’s upset win over Baylor on Jan. 19.

Udeh Jr. also posted 16 points and 11 rebounds when the Horned Frogs defeated UCF on March 1. An All-Big 12 Honorable Mention this season, Udeh Jr. was a bright spot during a disappointing 2024-25 campaign for head coach Jamie Dixon and the Horned Frogs, who went 16-16 overall and failed to qualify for the NCAA Tournament.
 
HC Lucas starting to build a good looking team. No clue if they will gel well together but the parts are starting to fit in nicely

His offensive game is pretty much just being a lob threat. I wouldn’t expect much more than that. TCU as a team was also pretty abysmal offensively.
