Julio Jones was super skinny when he was first on the recruiting radar. I think that's a **** of a good comparison at that stage.

He still has 2 years to add weight before college, and I honestly don't think he is "frail"

Makes me think back to how freaky Andre Johnson was at the same stage. He was a man child out there.

We need some Homestead boys on the roster. I'd prefer that he were a Buccaneer but thats alright.

Watchin Julio Jones on FOX right now....man they look similar.

Agreed. Jones probably has a slightly thicker build but Lane more than compensates with (seemingly) greater length and ball skills. Jones can't highpoint the ball like Lane does.

What I want to see from Lane is more physicality before I elevate him to 5* status. He needs to use his size to his advantage and outmuscle defenders to the ball, as well as being tougher as a runner. Jones is/was way ahead of him as a physical and tough football player.

Reminds me more of AJ Green.

I don't really remember AJ other than he was a huge prospect. I know he was skinny but I remember seeing a lot of JJ early on.

How fast is Lane?

I don't know what he times, but he's fast. Maybe a tick faster than Green coming out of SC although he was very explosive out of his breaks.

Julio was more of a hoss with his strength, blue-collar mentality and pure athleticism. Lane is more comparable to Green as far as polish, frame and ability to high-point the ball IMO.
