Everything that Henderson should have been.

First rounder after next year, no doubt.

Matter of fact, the whole Oline was.

Linder made some money shutting down Donald.

Yep. Gave us more in yesterdays game than henderson did all year.

Henderson had a pretty good game himself yesterday.

Yep. Henderson is good. IMO, he will be Miami's next Pro Bowler.

The thing people forget about Henderson is his effort level. Every time the offense cranks a big play Henderson is running twenty-yards down the field looking for someone to block.

Look at a guy like Dontari Powe of the Chiefs. Physical freak who didn't dominate in college but always played with motor. The coaches at the next level harnessed that motor and developed his skill. Now he's an emerging star. Henderson is on offense, obviously, but will have a similar trajectory IMO.

And Flowers is something else. Top 10 pick in the 2015 draft.

Props to the whole O-Line yesterday. They played a great game.

This.

There are a handful of guys who've repeatedly called me out for noting Flowers' talent. I think it's ridiculous because it seems pretty plain to see. At this point, I imagine they're just reaching to support their "we have no talent" argument. Will be interesting to look back on those links/posts.

The downfield blocking on Coley's screen TD was a thing of beauty. Flowers and Feliciano puttin' people on the ground.

He's the most athletic lineman I've ever seen. He can play in any Oline system with his size and athletic ability. That goal line block was amazing. He pancaked two guys in the blink of a second, lol.

Henderson is the Canes' Clowney, but not as good. Dude half assed it most of the year, did his worst sandbagging during VT and Duke.

**** him.

I've been disappointed in the OL for much f the year - at least run blocking. But, yesterday was their best game of the year. They were money for sure.

The thing that Flowers does that most linemen can't do is absolutely ragdoll people with upper body strength. He torques people out of the way. His only weakness I've seen this year is hand placement in pass protection. He really is the premiere tackle in the acc and soon to be in the country imo. Now if only we could get a coach who has a history of producing NFL linemen........................

Agree with this. Henderson has been pretty **** good the last 2 years when he is on the field.

I will say, his whole career here has just been really odd. An injury, a few suspensions. Yet every time you see him on the sidelines, in the game, he seems to be giving max effort, celebrating/cheering on teammates, etc.

Flowers is more comfortable at left tackle than Henderson has ever been at any spot. Hence the more consistent production. Overall they are very similar in ability. IMO, Henderson is slightly more talented and that will show up in the pros. I've never understood the knocks on Henderson, based on effort. He was always somewhat in the doghouse and that limited his ability to get comfortable at a spot and produce play after play. I think once he is highly regarded in the pros many of the posters who knocked him here will be baffled and silent.

I still think Flowers will regress somewhat leading up to his draft. It's more logic than anything else, not based on any specifics in his game. He was rated high coming out of high school but nothing to justify some of the projections here, like top 10 pick. There's a natural leveling off point in a case like that. You'll certainly be correct more often than not in predicting a bounce. It's like Reshad Jones with the Dolphins. He had a nice season last year and the fans with poor instincts expect it to continually trend in the same direction. Jeff Ireland was similarly clueless and signed him to an expensive contract. Meanwhile, Jones was a 5th round pick who was never considered special. He's fallen off considerably this year, just as many of us predicted on Dolphin forums.

I don't think we have been bad running the ball. We are 27th in the nation in ypc.

A lot of feast or famine in the run game. Short yardage was a buggaboo all year long. Duke does a lot for your YPC
