What is it that you would like to hear? We can't be there in person watching everything so these little bits of information are really all we have to go on. Do you expect coach Barry to tell us everything? Do you expect him to provide us with a detailed breakdown on each offensive lineman? If we are making tangible progress we will be able to see it at the spring game. Then we have about 3 and a half months before fall camp begins. I will say that the any significant progress will be made between the end of spring and the beginning of fall. It is the work that they put in on their own that will be the biggest determining factor. Barry can coach them till he is blue in the face but the entire OL must take ownership. The good news is that atmosphere and overall culture of competition, meeting a championship level standard and accountability being instilled by Diaz should and will inspire and motivate the OL and everyone else to take responsibility to elevate their game to the highest level possible. The bad news is that in terms of the OL we are very young and in essence starting from scratch and while I expect to see improvement in game 1 I believe that this line will play its best football towards the latter half of the season. Building cohesion on the OL takes some time and there is no substitute for experience.Sorry, maybe it’s just me, but all I hear is blah, blah, blah coach speak, same BS you would hear from almost every other college staff at this time of the year. “Trying to find best five guys”, shocker, “Not where we need to be yet”, “Process, need to continue to get better...”
