Been meaning to post this in the practice reports, but I am very impressed by the play of the DT

Luther Robinson seems to have turned the corner and Curtis Porter is healthy and playing very well. We know what Darius Smith will give and I've talked about Ivery in-depth.

Olsen Pierre has added a lot of weight as well. This could be a solid group

But Grimble continues to disappoint
im expecting an imminent transfer
guy will be down th depth chart
and highly touted prospects are in route

I really like Olsen.... god **** Temple would have had one helluva DT thanks Golden

How big is Pierre these days? He definitely looks bigger.

Just posted in another thread but will Corey King give us anything (heard mixed reviews)?

And props to Luther Robinson. Staff was going to move him to OL and he stepped it up and seems to be delivering. Golden's story about Luther was pretty good.

Porter is really good when he is healthy. Hopefully he puts it all together this year.

So DT rotation will look something like Porter/Smith/Pierre/Robinson/Ivery and then Grimble/King can pick up the rest. RS Moore and Briscoe

Guess that means Rico Williams isn't doing much. DE actually worries me more then DT. I'm a little surprised it isn't being recruited a little harder for 2013.

Is there an interview posted somewhere regarding this? I know Golden lit a fire under Luther last year but is there another story to tell regarding him?

It was in his preseason press conference. Something like Luther was in Golden's office and Golden asked him if he thought he should play when he could only rep 225 12 times. There was a little more to it but that's the summary.

The way Porter was playing at the end of last year I expect him to be on straight beast mode this year.

If Big Curtis can play like a guy who should be drafted in the first 3 rounds( which I think he can) I think UM will surprise some folks. The guy has NFL ability
