I said it from the first time I saw him play. He has terrible mechanics. He’s 6’5 and when he throws he shrinks to 6’2. That and the fact he has a slow release. That makes for getting a ball batted every third throw. He’s just not it man. We trot him out there next year we are absolutely hosed.

I didn’t say that’s who you wanted as the QB.

It was utter ridiculousness for that info to be out out there by Gaby specifically and others that the staff may roll with him even if it was a “smokescreen.”

In your opinion, in this NIL world of unbinding contracts and consistent drama....is there any chatter/speculation within the Hecht that Mateer may still be worth back-channeling to reconsider? I find it hard to believe we "shot our best shot" in round 1 of his recruitment. Kid would be leaving a ton of money on the table.

Funniest play of night. Emory air mails Joseph and it should have been picked. They zero in on Emory and he raises his fingers as if to say it was inches off. Did he mean inches from being picked? Because it was 10 yards over Joseph head lol. You just can’t make that stuff up.
