He doesn’t have a rocket arm but his touch and anticipation reminds me of Danny Wuerfel. I think it’s pretty obvious who’s the better backup and who’d play if a catastrophe happened.

He is getting his 4 games in before redshirting, I guess. I am sure it was preplanned that Pof would get backup duty with FAMU and Williams with Ball State.

Horton and JoJo will keep getting better. Overall the roster will keep improving and the best players will play as we get into ACC play.

Happy to see Emory’s development as a QB. Not surprised he is putting in the time but sometimes things just don’t come together. I get the feeling seeing each position group on sidelines with coaches that there is a lot more cohesiveness now. Interesting how competition doesn’t have to rip a team apart! That takes leadership from the top and a buy in from everyone else.
Baby steps but **** it is nice to see hard work paying off for these young men on and off the field!

Mario talked about it in the press conference. They said that if they were going to bring them in for one of the four games they will possibly play him this year to keep his redshirt It had to be at a time where they could literally run the offense - and they did.

The intent is that Emory red shirts this year. Mario talked about how they had a plan for Emory this year. Presumably that means that they know that they have four to use him, and that they wanted to get him in one of these first four. Poff got time at FAMU, as did Judd (who would also be redshirting)
