Not sure if it's been televised before, but SportsCenter just ran a piece of an interview with Emmert in which he sees nothing wrong with Najjar's letter to the judge and denies that the NCAA is guilty of LOIC. He also stated that he doesn't believe that evidence obtained by waving money in front of a convicted, bankrupt felon (the NCAA saying that they could use Shapiro "in the future as a consultant and/or speaker to educate our membership") in any way taints the testimony of said bankrupt felon.

Digging himself in a deeper and deeper hole.

was praying someone would walk on set and shot him in the face.....didn't happen:mad:
 
They said on SportsCenter that Emmert will have a press conference from Atlanta at 2:30 and they will be airing it.

Look at how strong this guy is. Anyone else would collapse under the weight of that giant logo. Emmert is holding it up like a boss.

not a straight answer to any question put to him by ESPN.

the interview asked Emmert about the propriety of "dangling cash" (and impliedly a job) in front of a bankrupt (convicted for) lying criminal and whether that act tainted the investigation. (the interview did not ask about having actually given shapiro money!)

Emmert didn't (have the balls to) say "yeah, that stinks that's why the guy got fired!"

this means: 1) naijar (sp?) didn't get fired for that (but for sure we're gonna find out later "why");

2) najair (sp?) i bet, has got a significant something direct on Emmert that Najir (sp?) has not used yet, and most fun;

3) Emmert can't say "it stinks" because in some way, and we'll find out, he either directly sponsored this type of investigative of method, was aware of this type of behavior by his investigators and didn't stop them, or should have been aware of it. (these three alternatives represent the universe of possibilities.) Any one of these will get hime fired. Any one of them.

So let me be the first to say "buh bye Mark, and do let the door hit you in the ***!)

Shoulda settled this thing.

Today Emmert, tomorrow the NCAA.
 
I think the NCAA will move forward without him, I am hoping they throw our case out pretty soon too.

What has Emmert or the NCAA done so far that would make any of us believe they are going to announce time served today?

More likely to announce even more allegations

There comes a point when even the grandest of bull****ters runs out of things to say.

There is literally nothing else he can say on his behalf without making it worse.

But it's so simple. All I have to do is divine from what I know of you: are you the sort of man who would put the poison into his own goblet or his enemy's? I am not a great fool, so I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you. Sportscenter mentioned it right after showing the OTL piece.


It's probably about The Final four also but I think it's got have something to do with all this and maybe the Auburn stuff as well.

There will be a questioning portion though. We'll see how that goes.
