I ask because in a field littered with top 100 type talent, this is the kid that got the award? I mean, no offense, but this kid doesn't even have commitable offers to Bama, Miami, etc. 9 receptions and 42 yards raises eyebrows no matter what the circumstances are.

Reading between the lines, it's clear the coaches want to see "moore" of Moore before making a commitable offer. It's clear they have at least 8 guys ahead of him (Pope, Wiggins, Hightower, Josh Moore, Copeland, Williams, Thompson, and Austin).

You disrespected the kid by saying he got the WR MVP for "effort", being the "feel good" story despite being "less talented."

That is some grade A porsting and major disrespect to a kid that just dominated at an event full of studs.

And again, please show us what the Richt and Dugan's board looks like, since you know for certain.

I will repeat, in my opinion, after having watched all of the available film from the 2018 WR class that we are after, the most impressive ones are Pope, Williams, Copeland (kid ain't coming here), Elijah Moore, and then the rest of the cats that you mentioned.

Rankings and measurables don't always transfer to on-the-field performance.

Trust your eyes and not what you hear or see on the ranking sites.

Hightower I think is very gifted too, but not sure about his top end speed or ability to create separation. He's a jumbo sized kid though with great
measurables, so he's a take all day. Josh Moore is also a great prospect. Austin and Thompson look like big, strong receivers lacking in top end speed. We had plenty of those type of kids under the Alfredo Folden regime. The U was built on speed and more speed.

This kid is a complete stud and will be a football player in college no matter where he goes. You don't catch 88 passes for 1200 yards as a sophomore in 8A football with questionable talent around you if you can't play. Anyone who doubts it just doesn't want to see it.

You know that I am a STA honk, but his decision to transfer there was not a great short-term decision as he saw limited opportunities this past season (STA had seniors Jordan Merrell, Joshua Palmer, Mike Harley and Trevon Grimes in front of Elijah). Based on their 2017 roster, I'm confident that he will be targeted many more times this season and, based on his ability, I believe will have a HUGE season for STA. I also think STA will have a better QB this season in Beau Fillichio.

Pope and Wiggins are already coming. Copeland is a diva. Williams is going to Bama. Austin plays in the worst class in the state (yet you are so concerned about the competition Elijah played against as a sophomore). Stop sleeping on this kid.
