It’s been too **** long since we’ve had second level athletes like this kid, Aguirre, Kiko, Bryant. Osceola usually has a kid or two with a bad attitude - looks like we’re getting him this time around.

A long way to go before signing day 25’ but he’s saying all the right things.
“After committing to Miami, the No. 18 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, says he is fully committed to Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff and plans on shutting down his recruitment after visiting a handful of programs this fall.
“I feel like I’ve been everywhere I need to be this fall, and I found my home,” Melendez said. “I talk to my mom a lot, and I talk to her, and she agrees. My mentors and people around me agree as well, and I think this is what’s best for me, and I don’t plan on flipping or de-committing.”
