I don’t hate that. We need another quality DT for sure. A top 4 DE rotation of Mesidor, Bain, Kelly and Alston is formidable.

I hope they can keep Messidor here after the next window I’m sure some teams will try and poach him even harder given Alston now here. Having those 3 rotating at end is such an advantage and Messidor/Alston fully developed players

Good problem to have. Messidor, Bain and Alston is a **** good 3 man rotation. Just need one more guy to step up..Kelly or Wayne should battle for that 4th spot.

Patchen played in front of Rousseau because of run support. Lets not make that mistake again.

Im not sure if the two situations are similar at all. Both Alston and Mesidor are proven commodities as well as veteran players. But in principle Im with you, let the best players play. This season we need our DLine to generate pressure with the front four if we want to take the next step as a defense.

If healthy Mesidor is a better all around DE than Alston.

Meaidor is good against both run and pass. Alston may be slightly more explosive coming off edge, but Mesidor is technical.

He'd still face a 1-on-1, while starting closer to the QB. And he wins his matchups **** near every play.
