Yea, it’s absolutely more Southern culturally than the other cities since Kentucky is right there. But it’s a legitimate city — Akron is a ghost town.
Akron is like the little sister city to Cleveland. Kinda like Rockford and Aurora to Chi. Or Ypsi to detroit.

FTL to the MIA, or Tampa/Orl to MIA (one is engulfed in the metro area by proximity, the others are a clear tier below)?

He’s a Cincy boy. We don’t claim them MF’ers. LOL. Cincinnati to me is like Gainesville or Pensacola to y’all down in S. Fla.
Relax fam lol. You’re from Akron. We don’t claim YALL. You’re not even from a big city lol.

I have so many questions:

Yeah not trying to be an *** but I was born in Columbus… cinci is at least a city, Akron is more Gainesville

How does Columbus compare to the two?

The Queen City is Southern?

We gives zero ***** about what you Kentuckians claim. Shout out to Bootsy and the sorry *** bum Adrien Broner, though. 513 stay goin’ hard.

Do Ohioans and Kentuckians have a fued?

You mean like the runt of the litter?

I love my ashy little town, though. We have the best potholes and police protests in the state. East Cleveland is a close second. Columbus is cool, it’s the home of Buster Douglas and a dope professional soccer team. Ohio is terrible when Columbus and Cincinnati are the alleged crowned jewels.

Meh. Akron isn’t what it once was, but it’s not exactly a ghost town. It’s about 200,000 strong, basic and blue collar. It’s comparable to Dayton or Toledo.

I have so many questions:

How does Columbus compare to the two? Outside of a little area it is a dump. Side note I have driven and experienced being with so many people in this country, like I should not know a place like Paduca, Kentucky exists lol, of all the states I have driven thru the only state that depressed me as I drove thru it was Ohio, sorry Ohioans. Also spaghetti with Chili LIKE WTF?!!
The Queen City is Southern? Queen City is Charlotte, NC

Do Ohioans and Kentuckians have a fued? Yes but nowhere near as bad as their fued with Michigan

You mean like the runt of the litter? Yup

@Fzac75 This was insightful.

I have heard about Ohio and how depressing it is - never been, and don't have plans to ever go.

What in the world can there be to feud about? What is the topic of these beefs?

Chili and Spaghetti says a lot, truly does. Who else does this?
Being from jersey with some Italian blood reading what u wrote there at the end almost gave me a heart attack

LMAO We're neighbors. NYer in CT these days...

I'm 1/2 Rican, 1/2 Guinea. I ate good. i eat good. Food is a very big deal to me.

No clue what would possess someone to think of such a thing. It's perverse. I bet these whackos put ketchup and hotdogs in it, too. Very weird and difficult to process...

I threw the first stone, which was entirely in jest. Maybe it didn’t come across that way to some, but I was initially just joking about Cincinnati not being claimed. Nobody (should) give a **** what anybody else thinks, feels or says about where they’re from or where the live. It’s pretty much inconsequential, especially on a free college football message board. Akron ain’t fancy, nor Cleveland or ‘Nati, but it’s home to me and I ain’t ashamed of it.

That chil’getti **** is 100% Cincinnati. It’s about as 513’ish as Aaron Pryor. Cleveland has the polish boy and BTNH. I don’t know what the **** we have in Akron have as a signature food, maybe jojos.

Irish Italian here. My great grandma who was straight off the boat would roll over in her grave seeing chili on pasta. Sorta ruined my day and it just started haha

I’m sorry but my brother lives in Dayton lol. It’s also a ghost town. I got out of Ohio when I was 18 and haven’t looked back, but I love home through and through.
