DeeJay is a great get.

Donaldson been committed for years if you committed to Golden than keeping you a Cane is the easiest thing.

Bandy is one of those guys dying to be a Cane. Dude was begging for an offer. N'Kosi was also a Golden commit reeling him back in when he already had a lot of interest isn't that difficult.

This class is fine. If they don't close with five of these guys up in the air it's not anything taking the team to another level.

Recruiting up until the final month or so has been fine.

We were in good position to land a Top 10 class and Richt blew it down the stretch.

Espn generally rates Miami recruits higher than 247 imo

We land 4-5 4-stars recruits in the final stretch and we're still in the same position. You were looking to bat .900 to 1000 on 7 major targets and getting 4 and maybe 5 of them is blowing it. Ok.

We had a chance at Slaton, didn't wanna lie and say we'd give him a chance to play DT.

We had McFarland in our pocket, let him get away.

We dropped Pouncey to go 100% all in on Smith and then couldn't even get him to take an OV.

These are failures. Plain and simple.

They stopped pursuing Pouncey because they were satisfied with Thomas, Harley and Njoku. They didn't want to reach for a kid who wasn't going to play here.

That is not true at all.

They stopped recruiting Pouncey because they thought that had a legit shot at Smith. Harley was still thought to be a WVU lean when they cut off Pouncey.

The only person that floated that theory was BrooklynDee, are newest debunked insider. He said Smith was in the bag for quite awhile and they said no to Pouncey and it all of sudden became fact around here. Meanwhile we have no idea if any that is true.

That's on them. I don't care if you've never followed recruiting before. A top prospect from SEC country is never in the bag when your school doesn't offer bags, and even if you did, they still aren't part of your class until you get a faxed LOI. In fact, when you're UM, no recruits are.

At this point the CBs probably mean "I have no new information so I'm going with what the last guy said."

That's what the CB means all the time.
