We had a chance at Slaton, didn't wanna lie and say we'd give him a chance to play DT.

We had McFarland in our pocket, let him get away.

We dropped Pouncey to go 100% all in on Smith and then couldn't even get him to take an OV.

These are failures. Plain and simple.

They stopped pursuing Pouncey because they were satisfied with Thomas, Harley and Njoku. They didn't want to reach for a kid who wasn't going to play here.

They stopped recruiting Pouncey because they thought that had a legit shot at Smith. Harley was still thought to be a WVU lean when they cut off Pouncey.

The CB's swung to Texas for Pouncey on the 25th, after it was apparent Harley and Thomas were onboard. It has been said absolutely nowhere by anyone credible that they put all their eggs in the Smith basket.

- Things are reportedly not as great as it seem in term of landing Edwards and Henderson.
- Mopers are arguing that this class is a failure if we don't close with Thomas, Dean, Edwards, and Henderson etc.
- Angry Birds are okay with settling for w.e we get.. because the rest are "luxuries".. and arguing it is a good class even if it not that strong of a close.
- Richt vs Golden 1st year recruiting class comparisons.
- Mopers argue that this class is bun sauce like Golden's but Richt makes more money then Golden did and still can't close.
- Angry birds argue Golden class was never this fast in term of overall speed.

If we get Dean, Bandy, and DJ why again is this a position of need? There are very few CB classes better than the three i named. Henderson and Edwards are luxuries.

Henderson has elite speed and size. You wanna compete with the big boys then these are EXACTLY the kids you need to keep home.

Watch out. Richt can do no wrong in the eyes of the slurpers.

They'll point to Thomas and Herbert as a strong close when we lost McFarland, Smith, Henderson and Edwards.

I know Pete got you rustled but including Smith as someone lost is embarrassing. The only people looking at Smith as a loss are trolls and people who actually believed BrooklynDee who has been right about one thing and has used that to pretend to be an insider. You want to get into strength of closes so be it but Harley, Thomas, Herbert, Dean and maybe Henderson are 5 4-stars committing in less than a week which means 15 of the 26 commits would be 4-star recruits according to one service or another.

Harley is coming because he was dropped by WVU and he would be a Gator if he had an offer.

Dean is coming because he was dropped by Bama. He'd be there if he had a choice.

Getting Thomas and Hebert is big but it doesn't overshadow the fact that Richt lost McFarland, Henderson and Edwards and couldn't get Smith on campus for his OV.
