"I’m still solidly committed to Miami but I’m keeping my options open.”
Still don't understand this.
Solid commit.....options open?..... does not make sense

I agree. If your options are still open that means you are not committed. Plain and simple.
Can not really blame the kid , stop stressing over him he's young , and it's hard when you have 2000 colleges coming after so let just sit back and watch what happen , like I said I wouldn't be surprize if he decommits because we DONT run his offense , only if James coley changed his offense just for alin which might not happen ,you can't blame the KIDD like I said we need him , but THATS only if we run the spread offense air raid .. He will be a killer

Simple, he's committed but god forbid something happens he has backup plans which is what every recruit should have
Difference is your relationship with your girl is a done deal, he hasn't signed his LOI yet. What you're saying is basically if you commit to a school you can't visit other schools because that would be "flirting" and potentially "cheating" so if you think like that you're going to be heartbroken for the next 10 months"I’m still solidly committed to Miami but I’m keeping my options open.”

I'm gonna say that to my girl when I go home and she just might understand(crossing my fingers)
Akin Edouardo:
SOMETIMES PLAYING FOR YOUR DREAM SCHOOL ISN'T ALWAYS THE RIGHT MOVE FOR YOU ..
This dude is starting to get on my last nerve with his wishy washy feminine like instability
No it means he reads the online message rooms.
Can't believe we are criticizing some high school kid for having small doubts about his college decision which can affect his entire life.
Even normal kids without athletic scholarships struggle with where they want to go to college, but these athletes deal with pressures to become professional ballers.
So leave them the ***** alone
I'd rather bring Winky Flowers in & one prototypical pocket passer.
You guys have to remember this is a 17yr old kid and they tweet if their burp taste funny. He is merely expressing he is feeling neglected. Now here the thing I have issue with if your the QB then you be the leader son, you don't need UM holding your hand, but rather he should on the phone with every other major recruit getting in their ear about coming to play for UM. Alin should be working on improving his QB's schools not who is recruiting him as a committed player to his hometown team. I am hoping this scuttlebutt is all blown out of proportion. I think what he wants is more press and attention overall, which he is what he is not getting since he has committed to UM, an national media tends to down play UM commits.
Now my advice to young mr. Edouard is to focus more on your learning the QB craft, and improving yourself there then will get a chance to shine at a few 7 on 7's this summer or attend a few QB camps and blow them away with your improved ability. Then you may get a shot at an elite 11 invite.
Case in Point 2014 Tampa QB Chase Litton won the Golden Gun Award in Atlanta last week

Or better yet 2014 QB Peyton Bender from Cardinal Gibbons

Go Canes!
Hmmmm..I was definitely in the group of posters that blasted the kid for looking around if he was suppposed to be committed to us. ESPECIALLY seeing that he is the QB. But after the one poster mentioned how dirty we did Travis Johnson I changed my mind. The "If your looking, we are looking" theory goes both ways. UM is looking at bringin on another QB. So ****, why shouldnt Alin keep his options open? Travis Johnson was the most committed recruit we had last year and we totally $hitted on the kid after we saw we had a shot at Beau. Not saying it was wrong but not many people on here ran to his defense and blasted the staff. The better looking girl came along so we dropped our current one. But the door swings both ways in this game.
If Alin wants to look. Let him. If he comes, great. If he doesnt, good luck. (I do think he will stick though. Especially if he gets a "hood hint" that Ermon and Tyre are coming AND we get Sony. No QB in his right mind would turn that opportunity down. JMO.)
