He struggled a little in coverage (as the whole team did) but he was turning into a monster in run support when he was on the field. And he's young. Grace is still light in the *** and would not be better than EJ. IMO, of course.

He also seemed to bust and be part of the cause of big gains about as often as he made big plays. He was by no means perfect. We need him and I really hope he is back and buying in and working to get better. But, regardless, I expect a healthy Perryman to be our best LB this coming season.

Henderson made the most of his last chance, lets hope Eddie has the same opportunity and steps up. We really could use him this year.

I can confirm the "formal attire" report. I snapped this shot of EJ leaving the Hecht. Seemed quite chipper, as you can see.

Wow. Wonder what the meet is about. I think we all hope it is for him to be reinstated and not kicked off permanently.

Good luck to the young man. Hope he learned his lesson. We could use his skill set on D. Guy plays with bad intentions.
 
Was the best player on our defense last year and still incredibly raw. Need him to remove his head from his ***.

Why do you think EJ has such a pep in his step. Nothing warms his heart like seeing a mutilated baby.
 
What if ej just pulled a Jules and killed everyone at Hecht after preaching about punishment from god? All the classy hitman wear suits these days.

Cowboy, I dont know if you really saw #52 play the run, and the pass. Now, I love me some EJ but he is not the best player on the defense. Especially considering he is down right TERRIBLE in pass coverage. Now he is raw, has great intangibles and tackles with great passion. But DP also does those things and calls the defense and is much better in coverage. I honestly think DP could win the Butkus this year if he can stay healthy and play in every game. His injuries were the only thing that kept him off the radar as much as he deserves to be there. Not necessarily a knock on EJ or how good he is and could be, just saying IMO DP is the best player on this defense.

This is very true, he made youthful mistakes that can be corrected though. Unfortunately he's never on the practice field to make the improvements needed. Hopefully Golden can work some psychological magic with this kid because he has all the physical skills you look for in a LB.
 
Im gonna go out on a very flimsy limb and say once/if EJ is reinstated he will never get suspended again.
