Eddie Johnson

according to susan degnan miller, he was going to get kicked off of the team 2 weeks ago and per Golden he was going to some caribbean island.

You have to love the future of this LB corps.

Kirby, by all accounts, is a stud, too.
 
I could be wrong, but as great as the forced fumble was by EJ, it looked like he got burned on that play...
 
Buchanan's play is very underwhelming. 5th year of D1 football and he still looks hopeless against a play action

Lots of mistakes as expected. But you like to see your young guys bounce back rather than hang their heads. We saw A LOT of that yesterday.

He had a good game. Buchanan looked like he was playing in a blindfold, though.

Armbrister just didn't appear anywhere. Cornelius was lost. Gaines makes one good play, then appears on the side of a milk carton. Paul is hurt. Kirby is hurt.

I like Terry as the pass rush reserve. He was playing up and down and he hits with violence at the point of contract.

the bright lights came on and Cornelius and Armbrister looked shooked (imma say it)...those dudes were running around like a chicken with its head cut off....*wierd that cookie was lost some too...but maybe it was the gameplan..or something BC saw with our OLBs that had them all messed up......

VERY SURPRISED that Terry got burn....thought he was a redshirt candidate ...guess not...dude was rushing the passer at times...because our de's suck....Terry was actually Physical also.....

Wish we had Kirby because i believe he would be starting.....also Cookie made a nice play on the 4th and inches play on the qb ..bringing him back b4 he got the td
 
How lost was Cookie, really?

The only time I saw him make a play, either great or poor, was his TFL on that counter.
 
A lot of BC's big plays came off of play actions with routes into the flat to either TE's or backs. And a majority of the time, it was Buchanan flying into the line of scrimmage like a kamikaze pilot while his man peeled off and had nothing but sweet sweet fields of green in front of him.

Coaches need to give Gaines reps at that WILL spot. I'm not saying Gaines is great. But he usually knows where to go and his biggest weakness is his force at the point of attack. That will be marginalized due to the protection the DL gives the weakside backer

The kid played in the other teams backfield, and was hustling his *** off all game, I'll live with his youthful mistakes, he needs to be starting at KST.
