I feel bad for Ed, the guy should've probably hung it up already.

It's kinda sad watching him play now. He's a shell of his former self.

Would love to see him ink with my cowboys

My favorite cane playing for the cowboys would scoop that jersey up quick

C'mon jerry make it happen!!!

Should walk into coaching...guys knows football period smartest player we ever had back there...

He had 4 int's & 3 fumble recoveries (including 1 return for a TD) last year. Why not go make $6 million doing the thing you live for & get a chance to play with several former collegiate teammates?

Stats don't tell the whole story. He can't even run with some TE's anymore. He's slow and a liability in coverage. Obviously, he still has great football IQ, but how far does that get you?

I disagree. I watch almost every Ed Reed game going back years (it sucks trying to watch safeties play on TV because the TV always zooms in to the line of scrimmage but I do my best). Last year he was amazing. Teams didn't even throw to his side of the field. You can't get interceptions if they don't throw to you. Roethlisberger challenged him in their first game. He threw two picks. Brady did the same and had INT's. After that, other teams didn't even throw his way. Super Bowl comes, who makes the pick. ED REED. On the goal line stand in the Super Bowl. Go watch it, but focus on Ed Reed. He knew the plays before the snap.

This year he is coming off surgery. Something that he has done in the past before in Baltimore. But Houston is in turmoil. No sense sacrificing your body and getting CTE for that organization.

for those saying he should have retired after the super bowl he made another 6 million dollars this year, nice farewell payday cant beat that

He isn't that good anymore; a shell of himself. Much like ray last year. HOF career though
