That's good! Setting the tone for future recruits get on board early or get left behind. How it's supposed to be.

Thats nice and all but I would of loved to add these 2 guys. We still have dead weight that we could cut on the o line. They could of took 2 guys spots easily

I love that we are telling recruits what spots etc. and that allows us to focus resources better.

The interesting part will be the evaluations. I really like Barnes, so we will see how Campbell progresses and if the transfer starts.

I think it’s more about timing than evaluation. Croots can’t come at the last minute for a free trip. If the interest isn’t there then move on...

Unless we’re desperate. Ie DT.

You are forgetting that we are limited in how many can sign in one year, so even if 5 more current players left the team, we couldnt add more than the max this year.

If the guy was truly interested in coming I wouldn't have turned him away. OL, in my opinion, has been the weakest area on the team for a few years now, I don't see how turning away a recruit of his caliber makes any sense even if it means bringing on an extra OL in this year recruiting class.

Love to start a pipeline with Apopka. Darlington produces offensive linemen. Fact of the matter is Miami doesn't have room for another guard in this class. Scaife and Reed looked great all-star week. And we have more quality guards coming in the 2019. Barnes is playing guard in college. You can bank on it.

This I agree with! Milo for sure will never play here. Boulware has an excellent chance to start at LG or at least get solid PT, which will keep some guys pushed down the depth chart. Navaughn losing weight and playing OT is the wild card, that will shakeup everything and give us flexibility to mix and match the best 5 guys.

Also, even if Barnes is more of an OG like Montilus, Scaife has already shown he can play OT despite being 6’3” due to his arm length. I’d take them in a heart beat. Then they would push Reed, Mahoney, Gaynor, Dykstra, Tre Johnson and Jahair Jones for the 2nd team jobs inside. Can’t go wrong there. Already have KLH, Hillery, Brown Jr, and Campbell outside along with TSL and what would be Scaife. That’s a talented group across the board. 2-3 transfer out after spring practice and we are rolling
