EA Sports bringing back NCAA Football game

Madden been trash since XB 360 PS3 days
I was actually the weird one who really enjoyed the ESPN games more than Madden. Became kinda obsessed with the NFL when I saw the Berlin Thunder play the Claymores in Glasgow. Played both Madden 04/05 and ESPN (Football and 2K5) in the immediate aftermath and ESPN’s blew me away. I loved the first person mode, the halftime show and the crib stuff from EPSN and both games (if I recall correctly) let you play as the NFL Europe so Madden really didn’t do anything for me, even back then. I was so sad when the exclusivity with EA kicked in and stopped that series, I really only gave Madden a chance when Favre was on the cover in three different team uniforms xD I don’t recall the year of that one though. I do know there will be a new 2K NFL game this year but I don’t know if the series can ever be what 2K5 was... If I am offered a chance to play and review it, rest assured I will do a thorough breakdown in the video games thread 😁

Notice it doesn't say anything about the NCAA. It's "EA College Football".
It’s gunna be the same iteration I believe as before. Some litigation things gotta get squared away with the NCAAs players and they NIL but it seems to be headed in the right direction at this point

What’s some things y’all wanna see them bring back ?

Me personally. I think spring practice should be put in the game.(spring drills) impact player def needs to come back. 247 recruiting analysts or ESPN. The whole blocking punts and field goals like ncaa 07
they better add more coaching options (position coaches) and if they can’t do that atleast let us have control over O/D-Coordinator. Hate when they just leave and some random guy comes in

I still have a PS3 and from time to time I play the old NCAA 2009 with Matt Ryan on the cover.
I have a PS3 and PS4. I prefer playing my PS3 so I can play my Soul Calibur 2, Tekken 6, MK vs DC and NCAA 14. What's funny is I have soul calibur 6, tekken 7, mk 11 aftermath and Madden 20 on the 4. The older games are more fun. Esp. NCAA 14.

In all fairness the best part of NCAA was the team building. Gameplay was never anything special.

I liked the game play better than the current madden which is what I meant. the dynasty mode w the recruiting was (yes the best feature) great

From the press release, everything will be completely customizable.

EA Sports should hire the guys that have modded NCAA 14. They have made an incredible ported mod for NCAA with updated everything...down to logos, stadiums, graphics, etc. They've done a truly incredible job that plays incredible, too.

If you've been fiending for the DUB and have a general idea of how to port a modded version of a game onto a PC or console system, I suggest you check it out to hold you over until our baby finally comes home.

My gaming days are over.

But still will watch others play.
People who want to post youtubes on here would be much appreciated. Especially if you add funny commentary.

2k was always better when it came to real football. U can chase angels if u beat a block u didn't get suction blocked. Defense was fun to play in 2k that's why I preferred it. The OL and DL play was savage

2k suppose to make a football game but not a sim football. NFLPA and EA were mad 2k sold the game for 20$ and they merged and got the licensing rights. Hopefully they get rid of that bs.....star wars is free from the EA grips and now I will see them start to lose some things.
