Dylan Moses visit schedule

I'll leave it to the coaches, they think he's looking for a free trip let him loose. If he starts calling our coaches and acts like he really is interested that changes things, otherwise he can stick it. No more games, let's give a visit to someone who actually has interest. After we win 10 games this year, they will come.

For all we know dude is an LSU lock and wants to burn Bama Shavar Manuel style...But I can't see the negative in letting a highly thought of recruit visit our rivalry game as apart of his summer tour. If anything its another recruiting weapon and/or advertisement tool.
On a side note, if he denies to come to Paradise Camp then fck him

Agree leave it to the coaches..they will sense his tone the coaches have been recruiting a couple of days longer than I have. They will know ... when they talk with him

I trust the staffs inclination since they have actually talked to and interacted with the kid. If they sense a free trip, then I like the idea of them not wasting time and $$ appeasing someone who has no intentions of signing here.

The downside is twofold:

1. There is a limit on the number of official visits a team can use. With this car rental stuff, who knows if the NCAA will decide to extend probation through this recruiting cycle etc. (that's me speculating here)

2. If a kid is clearly not coming here, that is bad mojo for the kids who are here and legitimately on-the-fence. A 5-star kid telling you how great this and that is on your visit lessens some of that shine.

Bonus reason: Basing your argument on an outlier (DJ Williams) proves the point of those who believe the time and energy is better spent elsewhere. Richt is smart in the recruiting game, and is putting the time and energy on building the infrastructure first. The Dylan Moses' of the world need to actually show some interest before they get the time.

"I won't be making my College decision until December.
It's no specific day yet but every school WILL HAVE A CHANCE till then."

It's good to know that we have a "chance"... smh.

I think he's LSU bound. He was committed at a young age (decommitted to live up the process), is from LA, likes to blitz from the LB position (which Aranda does in his D) and has said in an interview he wants his family to be able to come watch him at practice. He's going home.

Thank you! **** I get tired of that "logic". Yeah, it "could" happen. But resources are not infinite and you have to understand possibilities v. probabilities.

On a related note, we also get that **** with every low star kid who "Could be the next Ed Reed". Yeah, he could. Two star to NFL Hall of Fame. Seen many since Ed Reed? Make a list. Won't take long.

"But...but...what about ______?" Yeah, the fact you can name the exceptions makes his point. They stick out because they so seldom happen. They exist because it is possible, but do the math and discuss probabilities.

His contention is that resources are finite. Allocate them wisely. I totally agree. Plus I absolutely don't want us to bring in a recruit who spends his time selling other programs to fellow recruits while he is here on our dime. At best that is dumb, at worst you are a cuck.

I understand not wanting to give out free vacations but at the same time kind of difficult to change minds if they do t visit.

SO if no LSU AND NO BAMA. (I still think he goes to LSU)

Does that shape it to a Miami, Texas, UCLA, Ohio State battle?

Yes he's been a LB before quite dominant actually.

Of course we all think the kid is LSU OR BAMA bound despite what he says now. Just curious what vibes the staff are getting from him. Do they still feel he's a free trip kid?

The #2 overall prospect is concerned about competition at his position? Maybe he isn't so sure he is that good. Paging Jeff George.
