Maybe Jack should stop shipping kids off to his alma mater and think about what is really best for them. Had Brissett come to Miami, he would have competed for the starting spot with Morris and would certainly be in the driver's seat heading into the fall next year. Same for a number of the Dwyer kids.

elam left because he was a 1st round pick. he obviously wanted his boy brissett to start as any good friend would.

ppl. are reading waay too much into his tweets. some gator fan had a smartass remark and he responded in kind. and since brissett is going to nc. state he obviously wants good receivers to go there to play with him. he'd be saying the same if brissett was still at uf.

I dont think it has been discussed yet. He needs to get his legal issues over with first. He has already used his redshirt year so he should probably go to JUCO get some playing time then have his pick of top programs after a year.
 
UF is in the driver seat for their best prospect so who cares...dude will still have his best prospects favoring uf..... read between the lines....

Sounds like he's already over it. But for those 5 or 10 minutes he was mad at UF, nobody could tell him anything.
 
Sounds like a bunch of babied kids that were promised the world at UF from both UF coaches and Dwyer head coach and forget they had to work for it not have it given to them. Only one capatialized on it was Elam...

Datecane, you're right!!! To be fair none of those kids were really as good as they were hyped up to be except for Elam... Gerald was an undersized tightend who rode the bench his first year under Zmeyer behind two talented players and lets not forget they even moved him to linebacker... He was a good hs player that couldn't make the transition at the time... And Clark was a return specialist and was recruited as such... Brisset had to be the most disappointing because he actually started games but did not impress... Driskell is a terrible passer but he did things to win... Brisset didn't pass well or make enough plays to win... He chose the right school because he saw the field extremely early... If he came here he would have transferred because he would not have competed to start until his 4th year... That's a bias article about overrated players... Sort of what we have read during the Butch, Coker, Shannon and now even Golden eras...
