Dwayne Lawson remember him?

My friend who is a VT fan said the coaches had to treat him like a child, and told me a few weeks back he wasn't gonna be there long. I'm glad this guy went elsewhere, Sherrifs seems to be a better player anyways.

"Last Chance U" is in his future!

Are you really blaming a 17 year old kid for picking a school that wasn't the one you root for lol?

Yes. It's odd that a UM fan would be invested in UM isn't it?

Even more odd a grown man would be salty about a 17 year old's choice of college. I love UM and recruiting. But I;m not crying over some kid who didn't want to play for fat Al. I'd rather focus on they guys who actually end up coming to Miami.

Sources with knowledge of the situation indicate Lawson failed multiple drug tests during his time at Tech. #Hokies

It's a recruiting board. By nature, the people who are on here are usually passionate about UM recruiting. You likely choose the classy "I wish him well wherever he goes" approach because your connection to UM isn't all that strong. More passionate UM fans don't subscribe to your casual approach.

The tweet doesn't even make sense. It would make sense if Lawson was like 2nd on the depth chart. But apparently everybody on the roster beat him out.

Two different coaching staffs

Even assuming that is true (the old staff loved him), it still doesn't make any sense. All we know is that Lawson sucked under Fuente's system. He entered fall camp 4th string on the QB depth chart. So Evans beating him out has nothing to do with how good Evans must be under Fuente's system. Cause everybody beat out Lawson. The tweet would make sense if it said, "Wow. Lawson must have been a bad fit in Fuente's offense, because the old staff loved him."

Jerrod Evans is a beast... His JUCO tape was electrifying.

He hasn't even won the starting job yet. Most feel as if he will eventually be named starter because new coaches like to go with their guy. But Motley is a JAG x 100. He might have single handedly saved Fat Al's job last year if Dabo hadn't rescued us the next week. The fact that Evans is in a battle with that scrub for the starting job, makes me think he might not be a beast.

Doesn't sound like talent or getting beat out was the problem.Sounds like he is immature and can't follow the rules.

friend of mine is a VT fan so he's been keeping me updated on Lawson since he signed with Tech. According to him (and hokies 247 board) Lawson had a poor work ethic, wanted the job handed to him, and had several disciplinary issues (w/ old staff and new).

Not seeing how he could be a poor fit in Fuente's system, he's actually a perfect fit skill wise at least.
