Dwayne Hoilett? What happened to him?

He's coming along. Might still be two years away.

I expect him to be a solid contributor for his final two years here.

I agree.

Ppl wanna bash him as if he's had a d.perry or j.grimble career... If it does in a couple years then ill start to question the kid

For those stuck on perma-mope, look at this as a positive sign. We're finally getting the roster in a position where guys who aren't physically ready for major D1 football aren't forced out there. Instead, you have a 5th year senior like #11 that is going to be getting those reps.

I prefer players without experience getting burn for the first time.

I want to throw a 220 pound guy out there at DE and then cry about how Corch Duh's scheme is busted when he gets flattened. I look smarter that way. I'm a bigger fan of crying than I am of UM.

Get Shayon Green out of my sight

I'd like to preface this by saying that I really appreciate what Shayon did last year.

Now, get him out of my sight before I begin to get upset.

Here is a list of guys I'd rather see play DE:

Chick
Gilbert
McCord (I consider him a DE since that's what he'll play this year)
AQM
Kamalu
Jelani
Pierre
Luther

Hoilett should be good to go next year.

I believe he's 240 now?

Should be 250+ next season ready to do damage. Hopefully we get to see him tomorrow in mop up duty. Him and Blue. I'm interested in those two.

Blue passed away in a freak mud wrestling accident so they moved Cain to MLB

Not a fan of Cain at MLB. IIRC he didn't have the athleticism necessary to play at a high level.

I think they moved Cain to linebacker for insurance in case the **** hits the fan and guys start getting sniped like Mike James against Bethune. At the very least, he's a guy that's versatile enough to fill-in at DE, SLB, or MLB if needed.

Wish they'd have moved Fatyon to TE instead of Quan but hey I'm just glad the season is here

At least that 220 pound DE has workable joints and isn't coming off major knee operations. It never ends.

Its takes some time so maybe the staff is just waiting on him to put on good wieght. Another reason is we have alot of senior leadership up front. We keep bringing in these beasts at DE and this guy will never see the field.
