ITs fascinating to see the blind homers pointing out Vernon Carey and the very few other UM draft picks. Meanwhile the entire NFL was loading up on Miami Hurricanes but the fish were too arrogant.

I mean, I am a Dolphins fan and therefore hate them more than pretty much anybody, but you are way off.

The guy who passed on Ray Lewis and later drafted Zach Thomas was Jimmy Johnson...not exactly a Miami basher.

Jimmy also took Yatil Green in the first round the next year after his undistinguished career at The U.

The guy who passed on all our guys in the early 2000s...most notably on Reggie Wayne when we REALLY needed receiving help (minus Carey)...is former Canes DC Dave Wanndstedt.

As for Vernon and Miller, those are two of the only defensible Ireland moves. The Phins needed a pass rusher and after taking Tannehill in the first and Martin in the second, Vernon was the best available of the non-elite prospects. Ireland then traded up for Miller because he was easily the best guy on the board in the 4th round. Both now start...hardly a PR move.

I can't wait for the hype to stop and the fake *** fin fans to turn on their team when they are 3-3 in a few weeks.
 
What that weak-minded organization did with Tebow and the Gators was disgusting and a classless attempt to sell a handful of extra tickets. All stemmed by their inability to sell tickets by putting a good product on the field.

That will never be forgotten and no Cane fan should take that lightly. They are clearly more of an enemy than an ally.

No he didn't. If he had been playing well he wouldn't have been let go. And then let go again by Pittsburgh
