His sophomore film at LB for Dillard showed a lot of potential. He just needed a quicker first step. Which a lot of us expected to see him gain with two more years, but last year at STA he played a lot of line, even playing DT a bunch. Going to be hard to evaluate him if he doesn't go back to full time backer.

STAs plan is to put him back full time at LB as they have been bringing DL in via transfer to avoid the injury bug again.
 
From the limited film I've viewed of the young man he seems heavy bodied. Not necessarily fast or explosive at point of contact like Wilder, F'agan, Kearney or especially Miller. From the surface it appears, idk, that the staffs priorities are elsewhere.

Good for him if true, that would suck to transfer in to STA and have to play out of position.

I was told by a staff member he will be playing DE, as STA is returning all their starting LBs.
