Duke

He was amazing. Incredible vision and balance. Reminds me so much of Frank Gore. I think from this game on Mike James and Clements are going to see limited carries. Duke is just a gamechanging type of player.

Pre-ACL Frank Gore - let's hope so.
Also, reminds me of Napoleon Kaufman and Warrick Dunn.

Better pay attention to every down he plays, because in 2014, it will be his last.

Boy is beyond impressive. He's one of the best Fr running backs I've seen since Walker or Dupre. Boy has vision, speed, and can lay wood when needed.

Pretty sad when a true freshman that is 5'9" 190 that runs harder than any of our other running backs.

Not when that true freshman is one of those elite talents that even my mother could pick out...

Do not take this as a diss to Duke. He runs the ball like a man. He hits the hole hard and is not afraid to put his head down, and also has the vision.

I like Mike James, but you can noticeably see the difference. What I am saying is that it is sad that Miami has fallen to a team that has a true freshman that runs harder than people that have been here for years. That is not how it is supposed to be.

I guess Duke mania (the first stage at least) has hit. Sooner than I expected. Now it'll just take another big game or two for the second stage - the national media taking notice.

So...is there any kind of, you know, bandwagon a brotha can join about this guy. Anyone here driving that shizz?

Well, I personally Mike James had a very solid game. I think MJ will be the every down grinder type back and Duke is the unbelievable change of pace guy. I personally dont want to see Duke full time, he WILL get banged up he is just not big enough yet. I did see his very solid running today but if he has ten to twelve of those big runs ith big hits at the end your destined to get hurt. I LOVED the way he was utilized in this game, lots of touches in space and a few carries.

Reminds me a lot of DeAnthony Thomas but more a pure running back than Thomas. Duke is going to be a very, very special player.

He broke off a few runs for some serious gains. He will win some awards before he leaves this place. It made me think of Lamar, but without the propensity to fall on first contact or stumble.

He also had some good tough runs. Gore had/has that ability to always get a couple more yards than he should. Duke looks cut from that cloth.
