Doesn't mean **** when you're schedule is Charmin soft and you can't take care of business on your side of the conference.

SMH at this "9 to 10 win let's be all positive" bull****.

Say what you want, but we folded against inferior teams and have not made any progress on defense.

As long as guys like Dorito are staff members, get used to the "oh we won 9 games this year and get to play in the PapaJohn's butt**** bowl, sweet" type seasons.

Im not saying im happy with nine wins, im just as ****ed off as most of you, but to say its a complete failure is like saying we had a losing season which we didnt have, last year we lost to teams that we should have beat way too often, did we lose to teams this year we should have beat yes, but not so much as last year, like someone said it was more of a dissapointing season then a complete failure JMO

Fsu is a threat to Alabama. We don't have the talent to bet Fsu. I don't want to play them again this year. 9 or 10 wins is a great building block for this team

Two miracle wins over UNC and WF, and the softest OOC schedule in football account for our record.
 
am I the only one who thinks we would of gotten killed even more vs FSU in the ACCCG and that would of had a far grater negative impact on us than not going to the ACCCG?
 
Total failure of a season. We played 3 important games all year and looked like absolute **** in each one.

A joke of a year.

It's about making that game first. Everyone on this planet knows FSU is far more talented and wins 9 out of 10 games against us.

Despite that, being in the ACCCG is a statement (despite how weak the conference is). It would have been the first significant postseason game we've played in how many years?

Making the game and getting romped is far more positive than not going. Yes, FSU would win, but playing in a championship game would impact the program far more positively than not, IMO.

There's dumb *** Canewasher telling us we knew this was going to happen, so we shouldn't be upset about it. Well, we didn't know it was going to happen before we played Puke. Pretty sure the point the OP was making was that we let Puke blow us out and win the Coastal, not that we were holding out hope that we'd back in today and that would make it all better.

Sorry, this season is a failure. Yes there were a few successes along the way; Beating uf was a major victory. If we get to 10 wins that will be a success but on the whole, this team looked worse than its record (or merely as good as their record when factoring in how weak the bulk of our schedule was).

Exactly, you are just giddy over the thought of ****ing and moaning about the Duke loss again. Could have done that anytime in the past month. Duke beating UNC doesn't change anything.

That proves that Puke was the more talented team. Case closed. If we have a player that wouldn't start for Puke next year, then we should expect to lose to them again.

I agree with you, but does anyone think we could be fsu next week without Duke? I think a health Duke Johnson would be our only chance, so Miami not going to the ACCG saves us a loss. I love the Canes but we don't have the players to beat fsu without Duke.

This is the fa.ggotry that cracks me up. FSU would be favored to beat us, so we shouldn't want to win the Coastal. This seems to be a disease catching fire with the new timid breed of UM fan.

Yep. Fail. 4th in the Coastal (the weakest division, by far, in the BCS)

The program is is exactly the same position it was in the Shannon years, 3 years into Goldens tenure.

You know, you lose any modicum of credibility in saying the coastal is the weakest division in all the bcs. That's just not even true, there are conferences in the bcs weaker than the coastal from top to bottom. Like the AAC. I'm not saying there isn't disappointment but you and others are jumping the shark and puking all over the board. Constantly.

Says the guy who does absolutely nothing in real life. If you had 10% of the expectations for yourself that you have for Miami football, you wouldn't be here constantly typing a hundred variations of the word f.ag. A real winner.
