Duke Johnson Returns!!

alot of his draft position will be based on his durability this year . . . can he finish the season out?

Duke is explosive no doubt, but I don't see him as a 20 carry per game RB in the NFL. For one, he has gotten hurt every year he has played here. Two, he has never reached 1,000 yards in a year. Now, the same could have been said for Frank Gore at Miami, so there's that. But I feel teams who want a workhorse type of back will shy away from him in the NFL.

workhorse running backs are falling out of favor in the modern pro game. duke is going to enter the nfl in a very good situation because he's a versatile player on offense and special teams.

From looking at the beginning of the video it looks like Duke gained a good amount of weight

Good Lord PLEASE let my Bears draft him. Walter Payton 2.0
Stiff arm, high step, attitude and the silent killer… once in a generation vision.
They are both to small, too slow and not going to survive in the pro's. LMAO

From the first time I laid my eyes on him in high school, he was Walter reincarnated. "I think" my2

Walter, really? Duke has had more injuries than I remember Walter Payton having his entire career. I'd say you're looking for something that isn't there with that comparison.

As another person said, his draft stock will depend on him staying healthy this year. Should be get injured once again, I wouldn't be shocked to see him come back for another year. Right now he'd be drafted for his return game and spot duty as a RB.

He's also gotta step up in the big games. He's got video game skills, he's just gotta be more durable and consistent.
