Duke Game: 12:00pm ABC

If we don't turn the ball over we roll. They're even worse on offense relative to our key defensive weakness (giving up explosives) than FSU. Lispy has the Duke defense playing well - creating havoc and turnovers - but they're still overly susceptible to giving up explosives (especially in the run game, somethings never change lol).

It didnt dawn on me until later in the thread why folks are so upset..I dont know why I forgot this was a home game! LOL. I dont know why I thought it was an away game. Now I see why folks are up in arms. Yeah 12pm game against Duke..meh..lets hope we can pull 45k in the stadium. Should be nice weather though hopefully. A little breeze wouldnt hurt.

I don’t hate Manny for getting a job he wasn’t qualified for

But I hate him for what he did to our recruiting. HATE.

I want to beat Duke as much as FSU and UiF (almost)

Fair. But it's what he and Blake James represented. The athletic department was in shambles. Loser mentality infested the Hecht. I also don't like that others: administrators, fans, etc. who turned a blind eye to the rot of the program and decided to go with the flow. Takes courage to call out BS when it's unpopular

I have no doubt our offense feasts.

Sadly, I also have no doubt our defense makes Duke’s impotent offense (just 336 yards/game) suddenly look explosive to lay -20. I hope I’m wrong and we win by 50, but I’m not betting it.

Manny wasn’t ready to be HC here and he did not recruit well. He did a lot of things right though, including his staff. His players also loved him. My guess is he learned a lot and will come to town with a team that will play hard. His defense will also try and create turnovers. Spread is about right, but we better come to play or the game won’t be much fun.
