Yes, quite a bit.

GA Southern is a much better program.

GA Southern is currently an FBS team moving up from the FCS in 2014, Charleston Southern is FCS.

GA Southern is a 6 time FCS national champion, Charleston southern has never won a national championship.

GA Southern has an all time winning record of 457-251-10, while also achieving a winning record of 71-64 since being at the FBS level. Charleston Southern has an all time losing record of 146-211.

Never have paid any attention to directional schools as they are "canon fodder" regardless of conference. But I do see your point in that the "Big South", on a quick check, to be little more than a club program. To top that off ... their record this season is identical to FSU ... 1-8. So let's say that FSU has a chance to go to 2-10 this season, and save Norvells job.

+ the buyout they'd have to pay to the programs from which they're hiring away the new head coach and his staff members. + the lawsuit + the stadium upgrades + more NIL just to fix the roster + the suck tax on NIL. ... I honestly think they're in a hole too deep to climb out of.

I think the best FSU's AD can do now is hire analysts and recruiters to augment Norvell's staff, and begin a rebuilding process. But watch those dopes go out and try to bring in front runners from the portal again.

Every insider over there agrees with you. They seem to think theres no way they can get rid of Norvell. Bud Elliot part of their collective and he's saying that. More likely you see changes around Norvell and he's more of a puppet coach lol

I'm sure thats in the works. To go from 13-0, 8-0 in the ACC and champions to 1-8 and 1-7 in the ACC. You can do half of the 30-30 on the off season and the overhype machine that was going on based on getting scrubs from Alabama, Georgia and LSU
 
The whole Keon Coleman thing I don't think has anything to do with Dugans. I bet its more the NIL side and Coleman never got what he was promised. He probably played for free over there and thats what irked him

Just imagine being an assistant coach wanting to come into the program now! You would almost have to be a rookie assistant coach knowing it is a one year deal. There is no stability in your job if you replace one of the current assistants since Norvell might be gone next year.

Kinda wish they were playing Ga Southern, I don't think they can beat them
 
fsu trying to save up money for prison mike's buy out.. it was announced they will come to Charleston for the game instead of paying CSU 1.5 million to go to tallahassee. They might actually sell out CSU's stadium. might
