Man here misunderstand what the portal is. Yeah u can drop a bag amd entice man like Bear and Addison into the portal. Most of them that willingly enter, either or not good, or talented but havent produced, or produced at a lower level, whether G5 or FCS. U not taking starters from other schools that easily, its not about NIL only, they can change school and scheme and mess up their NFL prospects if it goes south when they leave familiarity. If u bring in talent like this Tywone guy, thats as good as it gets. Change of environment might unlock the potential like Jalen Phillips and Rambo etc.

I totally understand your point and Cribby's. We desperately need talent and depth. Not argument there. ... But we did get Fancisco, Devante, Cohen and Lee out of the portal. That's the talent level I was hoping to get out for WR1, DT and CB2, at the very least. I would hope the coaches were building a board for those positions for the past few months now. ... Then take quality if it becomes available for OL, LB, RB and QB, CB3, even S, as well.

Remember that Deen posted numbers that were equal to or perhaps even better than LT last year. He has been added to the rotation that will include LT/ Hunte and Mesidor/ Kelly. Adding this guy for situational moments is just what we needed. Now would I have liked Bear? Of course.. but Tywone can be effective with what we have and with Deen.

3 out of 4 people u mentioned fit into what i said. Produced at a lower level. Even though Washington St is in the Pac they are a lower level in terms of expectations and goals plus his brother. Lee and Brown, definite lower level. Cohen is the outlier and who knows how we got him. He falls into the entice man like Addison and Bear. Outliers or extra ordinary scenarios

I know it’s hard to fathom, but All Americans just don’t enter the Transfer Portal.
