Dt options moving forward

We seem way too late to the party on Ika. Think we could get one 1 of Eboigbe, Cheney, or Warren if we play our cards right, although history says otherwise. All three of them seem to be up in the air, which is good for us.

My next question would be...why did we wait till we lost Ingraham to pursue these 4 heavily? Cheney should've been on an OV with Haselwood. We need to take all the talented troubled souls we can find and bring them to Pastor Richt's house.

Same reason we have no quarterback this cycle when Taisun was begging to come here. Funniest part about that whole situation is MJJ didn't care about being 1 of 2 qbs in the class.

supposedly didn't develop they way they wanted. Had one unimpressive camp performance and then contact dropped off. He supposedly hasn't spoken to staff or visited campus since last spring. Based on what their board is saying he is already "out" - they are letting him find a spot and make his announcement.

Cheney OVd to Penn State the same weekend it is believed that Haselwood came to Miami under the radar. I think he was at Georgia Tech two weekends ago, too.

Enough of those light *** interior guys like Bethel.

We need to add a little more bulk.

This is the problem with the staff. They take anything these kids say at face value and don't have backup plans adequately set up. I'm sending the house to Cheney right now. He's a good DT, and he also happens to be Haselwood's teammate. It probably would have no affect on his decision, but it also wouldn't hurt either.

I am sure Jess Simpson is reaching out to other Georgia coaches he knows from his past. We need OL and DL obviously. There has to be some guys not yet committed that may be under the radar. Coach Smith at Cedar Grove is a good place to start

Well he's apparently not influential enough. Ohio state has the one of the top guards in this class and he's from Buford.
 
Top of our DT board right now is probably Eboigbe going forward. Then I would definitely try to get Chaney to OV while working the Haselwood angle, and finally Sorrells... if its grades, we go to get it figured out... send him to a prep school and bring him in next year, but get him committed with his boy Bogle. Sorrells is made for this defense, dont let a year in prep school prevent you from winning the Outland and being a top pick.

Don’t see Cheney on this list unless we drop Holley. They fit the same mold. We are looking for the RJ type player.

Unless we are taking 4 DTs then I see the logic here.
