Driskel out for the year

Driskel's grandmother is a waitress at Denny's in Orlando & always carries his picture in her shirt pocket. She knows I'm a Miami fan so we always talk a lil light smack. I hadnt been there in a month or so,so I never got a chance to rub it in about us beating the Gators. Anyhow, I saw her this morning. She wasnt our waitress but she came by the table & said "GM Mr Hurricane." From there she asked if I heard about Jake getting hurt & I told her I had. Trying to be nice I said "I'm sure he'll be fine." Her mgr then chimes in jokingly that when Jakes in the NFL she's gonna leave us(Denny's). I wanted to say so bad "that mf aint goin to the NFL." Lol

This is cool because I met his grandmother and driskels uncle when I worked at the best buy here in orlando. They were a very nice family and excited about his year with the gators. Sucks for driskel but that's why you don't play for the turds in Gainesville

I think the gators now have a story similar to Oklahoma in 85. We kicked their *** in Norman with Troy Aikman going down to a season ending injury. Then they changed their offense when Jamel Holliway took over at QB. I remember Barry Switzer trying to sway voters saying, "I wouldnt say we were the best team in America if Troy Aikman was still out QB, but with Jamel Holliway we're definitely the best team in America..."

i can hear gator fan now. "We only lost to Miami because of Driskel..."
