Welcome to the U!!

That name sounds like his mom had a speech impediment when she named him. Name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but I'm pumped and jacked to have him.

I'll spit in your face like Bill Romanowski did, JJ.

P.S. you're in violation of board rules of comportment posting the negged gif. Clean up your act, sporto.

Three days after securing No. 34-ranked prospect Sam Bruce, coach Al Golden struck again in South Florida by picking up a commitment from No. 11 overall prospect Dredrick Snelson. Continue reading for more on Snelson and Miami's sensational start to its 2016 class:

Significance of impact: Miami continued the momentum of the 2016 class that is headlined by quarterback Jack Allison (No. 27), wide receiver Sam Bruce (No. 34), receiver Dionte Mullins (No. 66), No. 123 Shaquille Quarterman and now the highly coveted Snelson (No. 11) in the ESPN Jr.300. In Snelson, the Hurricanes now have another of South Florida’s most talented skill players in the class, and another key prospect from a area powerhouse program that only adds to the early momentum.

What he brings: Snelson already possesses a college-ready body type. He should be able to step in right away and contribute with his perimeter quickness and ability to play through contact after the catch and in space. Coming from a state-title winning American Hertiage program coached by Mike Rumph, Snelson will head to Coral Gables in 2016 as a mentally tested prospect with advanced technique at the position.

Strength of commitment: Miami is in very good shape to keep Snelson in the fold. Like Bruce, Snelson said he feels a family connection to Golden and staff, and the fact that the decision keeps Snelson close to his mother makes the decision a popular one within the family. With Snelson in the mix, he's sure to form strong relationships with others in the class, and Miami is in a very good position to sign one of 2016’s most talented wide receivers.

Percent chance of the commit holding: 90 percent

Biggest threat: Auburn. Auburn didn’t go after Snelson with everything they had early on and until he committed, but the Tigers have been strong in Snelson’s mind since playing for the BCS National Championship. Should Auburn put the full-court press on at some point, the Hurricanes could have to work a little to keep Snelson “solid.”

For those that fell short, who's next on their board? Florida State has a number of wide receivers in state still on the board, including No. 6 Nate Craig, No. 25 Darnell Salomon and two May and June risers in No. 186 Freddie Swain and No. 197 Ahmmon Richards. Clemson is also in on Craig, and a number of others in the Southeast Region.

When asked why he chose to commit now, Snelson said, "My heart was set on Miami, so I figured I'll just do it now. Why wait?"

When asked if he would call this a solid commitment, Snelson said, "Yes, sir."

That is one helluva knockout. I miss the old Mike Tyson when he was Clubber Lang instead of a caricature.

Kid's got a real solid build for a wr (especially one with 2 more years of HS ball).

Man, the competition at our skill positions is going to be absurd when all these studs get on campus in a couple of years. Can't freakin wait...
