I agree. Everytime the kid touched the ball, I gasped waiting for the horrible pass he was GOING to make or ill-advised 3 taken. Most of those kids are young, but ****, at least try to make it look like you've been coached before you get on national TV for a basketball game.

Also, I may be in the minority here but Uceda is a wasted roster spot. Kid doesn't play defense, box out, or perform the 7'0 ft foreign basketball player who rains 3's impression very well at all. He was getting abused on the defensive end all year long.

Manu was a good FT and 3PT guy but had trouble with pressure Gs.

Sherman WTF? Looking over his shoulder at Anthony Lawrence Kamari Murphy?

Please not Sherman. Hate to see Manu and Burnett go, but scoring gaurds aren't a premium in CBB.

It'll be hard to replace a big with that athleticism.
 
Sherman is the only loss if true. The other two were going to struggle to find time.
 
Burnett has to sit out and lose a year. Not sure that makes sense. Both kids are better off at a mid-major.
 
I would be upset if Sherman left. To me it makes zero sense for him to do so. I was not a big fan of Burnett's game especially his basketball smarts. Will miss Manu at the end of the games because he is a great foul shooter. NS85 will be on suicide watch with his man Dre leaving.

Gotta do what you gotta do. Unless you are Kentucky you aren't convincing kids to be apart of a 11 man rotation these days. Which is basically what we had. Would have been great to have all these kids back because we would have made a **** good run at it next year..But at the end of the day, it just is a smart move for these guys to transfer (meaning DBurnett and Manu) And seeing that we got the guy Murphy coming in from Okie State then OSherman sees the writing on the wall too.

On the 11-man rotation thing...when you don't have 8+ McDonald's AA guys on your bench, you need to be that deep to challenge those types of teams. You need to be able to win the #'s game in terms of conditioning and avoiding foul trouble when you go against those elite teams.

That's why these guys should have stayed, IMO. I understand wanting PT, but these guys could have easily sacrificed some minutes to win some titles next year...at least make a good run at the ACC. We can still do that, it will simply be much harder against the Duke/UNC/UK's of the world who are reloading with elite prospects.

It's a tough sell, but that's what I've been saying for a few weeks on these threads...Coach L and the staff have to sell them on having a deep squad to challenge the big boys of today's college basketball landscape.
 
Burnett made some nice shots but overall seemed turnover prone. and low bball IQ, and to leave coach L is another low IQ move imo
