Ken Dorsey not winning at least one Heisman is the biggest injustice in sports history.

Oklahoma safeties beating out Reed in 01 and ST in 03 for the DB award will never be topped for biggest travesty.

Lol Mcgahee not winning was a travesty

Dorsey to me was like mccaron winning it in my eyes just. Life time achievement award not the biggest freak talent who the team rode like a bell cow like Mcgahee

IMO the Maxwell Award committee gets it right way more often than the hypesman voters.


What's funny is I remember seeing Desmond Howard say one time that he's always blown away at how many heisman voters there are. He says random people come up to him on the street and tell him they are heisman voters. Joe ******* casale has a heisman vote.
 
McGahee should have won it. Dude had one of the greatest seasons of all time for a RB on the #1 team in the country.

**** Carson Palmer.
 
AJ McCaron as 2nd place this year is ******* mind boggling. Winston being left off of 115 ballots. **** this award.

Dorsey was under-appreciated when it came to the Heisman and under-appreciated by our own fans. I want to slap every Miami fan who downplays Dorsey.
 
eric crouch had 1500 yards passing, 7 touchdowns and 10 interceptions and won the heisman...I dont care that he had 1100 yards rushing. That is a JOKE that he won in 2001
 
Maybe is we feed Coley more we can get a finalist again. Duke staying healthy next year could also give us a shot

This. 1800+ yards, 26 TDs (6 in one game - heisman moment), tons of receiving yards... screen pass against FSU = heisman moment

The biggest injustice of all though is neither Ed Reed nor Sean Taylor winning the Thorpe.

That **** was epic. He got jobbed on the Heisman.
 
Dorsey's and McGahee's votes combined didn't equal the winning total that Carson Palmer had.
