Don't Look Now

At least we are getting better as the season goes along. Normally we lose 4 of our last 5 then get pounded in a bowl. We might finish the season with a 5 game win streak, and that would be a MAJOR step in the right direction.
NCST win looks better.

Scoring 13 against UNC looks worse.

If we get the Richt of November instead of the Richt'Onfrio of October we're going to the ACC championship game next week.

Yet f*ck tards on here like to claim the coastal is strong to justify Richts ability.

Who were these folks?
Names and/or links will do just fine.
Thanks.

Everyone who said that 8-4 this year is acceptable. It's not.

I heard if you keep saying it on a message board we'll be 11-1 fwiw

How we finish this year is everything. Nobody is happy about losing 4 straight but If I remember correctly the Experts in Vegas has our Win Total at over/under 6 this year.

We beat Duke, win our bowl game and go into recruiting with momentum and I will be content, not happy, content.

Its a heck of a recruiting message to look at some of these young bucks and say "you can play as a true freshmen"...if your good enough. Look at all the freshmen that good burn this year.

It's just like Manny Diaz said in his interview the other day. The coastal is weird and you have to be consistently good and that team usually wins. UNC has been up and down all year so this doesn't come as a surprise to me. We got UNCs best half of football all year then got a mediocre half from them but our offense never figured it out despite the defensive effort.

Most teams go through that phase, especially in year 1 of a new coach where we just hadn't figured it out yet. They made the suggestion to switch up the practices to start fast and we haven't lost since then.

It'd be nice to win the coastal and be 10-2 which was a realistic expectation. But we aren't. Ending on a 5 game win streak sounds great to me for the hurdles we've had to overcome. You lose 2 of your best players before the season, injury and depth issues all year.. pretty miraculous to have a shot at 9 wins

Fvck the experts at Vegas. We were 3 points favorites against App state for god's sake.

For the sake of building momentum and getting good publicity I hope we play UGA or UF. If we get a lame asss Arkansas or SCar team it's like we didn't play a bowl game at all.

Wait, I thought the Richt haters said Richt is only good against bad opponnents. Now NCST is good??

Richt is 1-3 against "good" opponents. Hardly anything to brag about.

Pitt has 2 top 10 wins this year. The way we kicked their *** I'd count that a good win. I also think NCST is a pretty good win the way they've played Clemson, FSU, and UNC. It was on the road too.

Obviously their record doesn't say much but they have played some close games and some good teams

Meanwhile...Tom Herman is losing to a Memphis team without Justin Fuente...He must be terrible....Losing more games in year 2 than in year 1.

To be fair he's probably mentally deciding on whether he wants a mansion in Louisiana or Texas next year.

Roy Williams just said he hasn't missed a home football game. That's support right there.

But I thought some of y'all tried sh*t on me this week saying nc state was a competitive team... foh most of y'all talk out of your a$$es anyway

I said back in August that this UNC team is a 4-loss team.
Too bad we couldn't contribute to that loss total.

I agree that we figured out something offensively in the second half of the ND game. Our trajectory as a team is much better than anyone else in the ACC coastal. Beat Duke and win the bowl game and we will be in very good shape.

How about destroying Duke tomorrow to underline the progress? That would be at least sth.

Even though we've played both teams it's really better for us if UNC wins. UNC has played not just us but all of our opponents as well. If they lose it brings down the SOS of all our opponents and in turn brings down Miami's SOS. NCSU on the other hand has not played most of our opponents.
