Don't know what to think of this, to believe it or not

Don't see what's the big deal here. It's part of the process a new staff should take. Plus it's fair to the kids. Sure they would want to commit somewhere where they'll be given an honest chance. I like knowing the new HC wants to pick his own groceries. We been dealing with idiots so long we naive to how real coaches approach talent evals and offers.

Good idea, no need to keep kids hanging all year if he didn't offer them. Let them know now that they are being re-evaluated and they need to earn that offer.
 
I love this. Honesty that he's going to evaluate each guy and some will have to earn their schollie. If ubwant to be here this won't bother you

I have no problem with this either. It is super early in the process.

Better for them to be told this now than next December like Harbaugh would so none of them better get their panties in a bunch over Richt being honest far in advance. Recruits ALWAYS get to reevaluate a new staff so the reverse should definitely apply to the staff and a kid committed a year or more out.
