Don't bash players

We have to come up with an "intelligent solution" when your argument is the classic Don Bailey Jr line of "the players just weren't making the plays" ?

Here's a solution: find a coach who can get kids like Burns, Bush, Howard, AQM, McCord, and the like - who had offers from every major power - to actually make plays and not allow 500 yards a game.

Problem solved.

Swap staffs with UL and Miami wins this game. It starts at the top and we played soft tonight. UL played like they actually have balls.

Call it what you want.

When players are in a position to make a play they need to make that play.

Tonight was an embarrassment. To blame only the coaches is foolhearty.

I think he expects us to Wait till their seniors

No point in arguing WTH. You can't win. Making logical arguments here is a waste of time. It reminds me of the final Shannon and Coker years where fans were hanging on to the belief that the problem rested somewhere other than the person in charge of our football team.

I expect them to make plays when they are in a position to make plays.

That is on the staff and the player.

Bash the **** out of Stephen Morris. He was laughing all night on the sideline. The kid is a joke. When the fans called him out for it he talked smack to the fans. Stephen what about the other team? What about running for a first down? Good luck in the pros with that attitude u will need it

There was a second or third down play in the second quarter, 6 or 7 to go for a first down, where Morris rolled right and could have easily picked up the first down by running it. In fact, it looked like he could have walked to the marker. Instead, he sailed the ball out of bounds. The lisping commentator raved about his decision-making ability for not forcing the ball into coverage. I'm not sure what was worse: watching Morris wimp out (again) on picking up a badly needed first down or listening to the idiot in the booth praise him for it.

I wish Morris luck in the future, but I do look forward to seeing a QB under center who is willing to pick up a first down with his feet when necessary.

This I remember clearly and made me SMH

There is no point in arguing because they are arguing with themselves. The team was atrocious. That is on the staff and the players. Staff has ultimate responsibility.

The Shalala pro-academic argument is weak sauce.
