If it leads to a job. UM doesn’t offer the network a lot of other places do. Out of P5 football schools Stanford is the best, but then you also have to think about other factors. Like sure Miami’s academics might be ranked higher than Alabama, but if you played on Alabama football team you have hundreds of thousands of alumni ready to hire you and help you out. Norte dame also good in that regard. Miami’s alumni are not as engaged, so for a football player who just gets a degree I’m not sure if he has the opportunities other fan bases would give him.

You, sir.... Are looking at this all wrong. What if he takes the bag, the FEDS actually do something about that stuff his Freshman year and he never sniffs the NFL because he committed a federal crime? How far will that bag really go if he does get hurt? Not as far as his degree will take him.

I wish the Feds WOULD start on the bag game after the current college entrance scandal. There's a lot of lawbreaking going on and it affects the government more because there's unreported income.
